they are all hand-made, hand-engraved, the stones are hand-set, the whole shebang.

some of the pieces are modular, and easily removed from chains or cords by gently bending back the looped tabs that hold them. a modular amulet can be removed and re-attached to an earring hook, a chain, a bracelet… however you feel like wearing it!

i draw the most inspiration from protective jewish amulets from iraq (where my grandfather was from), as well as west asia more broadly. these cultural contexts are multi-faith; the symbols and motifs in my work are by no means exclusively jewish, nor do you have to be jewish to wear them.
